Our Approach

Schools Programs

Psychology & Mental Health Consultancy for Schools

As part of our ongoing commitment to support the mental health and well-being of school communities, we are offering psychological support for 1:1 work with students, supervision for wellbeing staff and on-site psychological assessments. Our psychologists are able to:

  • Provide accessible, confidential support for students
  • Provide a high-level of care for students with a range of complex and diverse needs
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to implement strategies that support student’s mental health and enable them to better access the curriculum
  • Provide evidence-based, wellbeing focused behavioural management programs
  • Able to conduct a range of assessments on-site (Cognitive, educational, ADHD & Autism assessments)
Why does this model benefit your school?

✔ Easier & faster access to mental health support – reduced stress for families to try and get children to/from school for private appointments

✔ Ability for the psychologist to manage risk and clinical care of students separately from the wellbeing support provided by teachers.

✔ Minimal administrative requirements for your staff. All communication between clients, families and psychologists goes through us!

✔ Increase communication between teaching staff and the students’ psychologists, providing more holistic and effective care.

✔ Flexible payment terms for families and schools to meet varying budgets (NDIS and Medicare funding available)

We are always eager to discuss other ways in which our partnership may benefit your school community and offer additional psychology services including:

FAQs

Children of all ages may benefit from seeing a psychologist for a range of reasons, including anxiety, low mood, stress, trauma, difficulties with friendships or family relationships, learning challenges, or adjusting to life changes. If you have a student who you feel needs extra support, either at home or at school, then a psychologist can help! As psychologists, we use age-appropriate, evidence-based approaches tailored to each child’s unique needs, helping them to cope, communicate, and thrive. Our aim is to build confidence and provide children with the tools to navigate life’s ups and downs, alongside working with those at home/school to provide holistic care!
