Why Does This Model Benefit Your School?

Psychological Therapy

We offer psychological therapy in a 1:1 capacity with students and families to improve their wellbeing. Our psychologists can:

  • Provide accessible, confidential support for students
  • Provide a high-level of care for students with a range of complex and diverse needs
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to implement strategies that support student’s mental health and enable them to better access the curriculum
  • Provide evidence-based, wellbeing focused behavioural management programs
  • All clinicians hold current AHPRA registration, Working with Children’s Checks and professional indemnity insurance.

In addition to 1:1 therapy we offer group programs for students that may be struggling with peer relationships, require extra support around transitions in high school, navigating worries and understanding self-care and boundaries.  If you are interested in group programs we can work with you to identify the topic, establish a list of students who may be interested and then finalise a day and time that works with your school.

Our team of registered psychologists provide the following assessments onsite at your school:

  • Cognitive
  • Educational
  • Specific Learning Disorder
  • Autism and ADHD

Simply collate a list of students and the assessments they need, send it through to us and we’ll do the rest!

Our psychologists will liaise with the families to obtain relevant information and then attend the school on an agreed date and time to complete 3-4 assessments in one day. They will provide timely feedback to the family and school (if required) and a report will be finalised with the family.

Our allied health team are comprised of Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Dietitians, Osteopaths, Audiologists and Physiotherapists.  These services may benefit your school to reduce appointment fatigue in parents, promote school engagement with tailored recommendations and enhance the wellbeing of your students and staff.  Similar to our psychological services, simply comprise a list of students who require a service and we will follow up with your students’ families to make an appointment.

We can work with your school to identify what area of focus you’d like and tailor a program to meet this need.
